Wine lovers dream’ mansion for sale in S.F.

Check out this $12.5 million ‘wine lovers dream’ mansion for sale in S.F.

If you’re an oenophile and have around $13 million burning a hole in your pocket, this might be the home for you.

Located in San Francisco’s well-heeled enclave of Cow Hollow, the four-story mansion boasts a climate-controlled, walk-in wine cellar for 550 bottles, a space that was custom designed with black oak case storage, custom back lighting and black lacquer wine racks. The wine area is also kitted out with a custom Biza linear suspension fixture and has it’s own sitting room outside the clear exhibition case, for tastings on the spot.

The emphasis on wine makes sense, given that the listing agent, Mary Toboni, and her husband, Joe Toboni of The Toboni Group, are already in the wine business — he designed and co-owns the Oakwild Ranch Toboni Vineyard in Russian River, Sonoma.

The 6,000-square-foot property also has four bedrooms, five full baths, one half bath and both elevator and stairs. It is entirely new construction, a departure from the majority of Queen Annes and Victorians throughout the neighborhood, and even has a rare backyard designed by Frank and Grossman Co.

Other amenities include an iPad intercom and stealth speakers created by Home Theater Innovations. The listing agent is Toboni with Pacific Union Real Estate. You can see a video of the listing here.
