The Mark Company’s The Austin Sales Launch

SF CONDO BUILDING STARTS SALES

Developer Pacific Eagle’s The Austin condo project launched sales this week, bringing 100 homes to San Francisco’s supply constrained Lower Polk neighborhood.

The project at 1545 Pine St. includes studios, one- and two-bedrooms in a 12-story tower. The condo prices range from studios in the mid-$600,000s to two-bedrooms priced from $1.3 million and up. The $83 million project is expected to be completed by late 2017. The Mark Co. is the project’s sales broker. BOE is the project’s architect, and Edmonds + Lee Architects is the interior designer.

“It’s a wide range of prices. We think we are quite attractive in this location,” said Hans Galland, senior vice president of Pacific Eagle Holdings.

A handful of other projects are moving forward in the area. Building permits have been filed for an 11-story building with 47 condos at 1433 Bush St. A 19-unit project at 1033 Polk St. has also been proposed.
