Pacific Union International Real Estate Professionals Take Top Honors Throughout the Bay Area

Stefan Jezycki, Michele Manzone, Patricia Bennett, Diana Gorsiski, Blaine Morris, Maya Sewald, and Perry Riani Demonstrate Extraordinary Commitment and Leadership

San Francisco, Calif., Jan. 09, 2016 – Pacific Union International, Inc. real estate professionals supported 2015 sales volume of $8.2 billion, making them among the most productive in the U.S. In addition to their abilities to drive extraordinary sales, these elite professionals also distinguish themselves through exceptional professional leadership in the Bay Area.

Recently, seven of these outstanding Pacific Union leaders – Stefan Jezycki, Michele Manzone, Perry Riani, Blaine Morris, Patricia Bennett, Maya Sewald, and Diana Gorsiski– earned accolades from their professional and community colleagues.

Michele Manzone, based in Pacific Union’s Orinda office, is the newly elected 2017 president of the Contra Costa Association of Realtors. An East Bay real estate professional since 1989, Manzone served as president-elect of CCAR through 2016 and previously held leadership positions at the California Association of Realtors for Region 5. Manzone’s wife and business partner Lisa Manzone is a former president of the West Contra Costa Association of Realtors.

Patricia Bennett, of Pacific Union’s Oakland/Montclair office, has been elected 2017 president of the Oakland/Berkeley Association of Realtors. Bennett was named Realtor of the Year twice by the Oakland Association of Realtors. A realtor in Oakland since 1985, Bennett served as chair of the Oakland/Alameda Realtor Professional Standards Committee for eight years and also served as chair of the Oakland/Berkeley Association of Realtors Community Fund. Additionally, Bennett has been a member of the Oakland Association of Realtors and the Oakland-Berkeley Association of Realtors Board of Directors since 2010.

Diana Gorsiski, based in Pacific Union’s Petaluma office, takes on the presidency of the North Bay Association of Realtors in January 2017 after serving as president-elect and a board member for the past five years. Among her responsibilities will be to oversee the vibrant philanthropy awards program at NorBAR. A real estate professional in one of the Bay Area’s fastest-growing regions, Gorsiski is also a director of the California Association of Realtors, has been named Realtor of the Year, and is the recipient of the prestigious Edgar K. Hansen Award for Outstanding Service to the real estate community.

Stefan Jezycki, of Pacific Union’s Napa office, was named 2016 Realtor of the Year for the Napa Chapter of realtors. He also will serve as the representative to the Nominating Committee for the California Association of Realtors for Region 4 for 2017. Jezycki served as regional chair for Region 4 at CAR in 2015.

Blaine Morris, based in Pacific Union’s Kentfield office, was recently named Marin’s Realtor of the Year for his overall sales performance and outstanding service to the Marin Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. Demonstrating clear leadership qualities in his profession, Morris will serve as the assistant chair for the realtor associations of Marin, the North Bay, Northern Solano, Solano, Lake, and coastal Mendocino regions.

Perry Riani, of Pacific Union’s Oakland/Montclair office, received this year’s Realtor of the Year award from the Oakland/Berkeley Association of Realtors. Riani, a 29-year resident of Oakland’s Rockridge neighborhood, has a long history of volunteering and leadership through his work with schools and professional organizations. His leadership translates to his work success as one of the top-performing real estate professionals in the region for the past five years.

Maya Sewald, based in Pacific Union’s Menlo Park office, was recently elected president of the Rotary Club of Menlo Park. She also serves on the Menlo Park Police Chief’s Advisory Board and is a former trustee of her alma mater Menlo College. A native of Menlo Park, Sewald has been a broker-associate in the city for more than 20 years, where she partners with her son Jason.
