Libby Leffler
President, Northern California, Compass
Age:
36
Education: B.S. from UC Berkeley, MBA from Harvard Business
Community Involvement: Board of directors, American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter; Launch team member, Leanin.Org; member Elios Society
Biggest Accomplishment: Helping coach and mentor people to achieve things they never thought possible for themselves — landing a big promotion, winning a tough sale or raising capital for a new business. Nothing is more rewarding or satisfying than seeing and supporting others as they strive to their full potential.
Most valuable advice: Go for it — fortune favors the bold.
Pandemic work and life balance: My husband and I had a baby during the first few weeks of lockdown in 2020. What balance? During the pandemic, the notion of “balance” was quickly replaced with the need to show strength and show up, for my family, my team and our newborn baby.
Surprising fact: I skipped third grade.
