Chandler Bing might have ended up leaving behind the single life to marry Monica and move from NYC to the burbs, but in real life, “Friends” star Matthew Perry just put his bachelor pad on the market, and you must see Perry’s Los Angeles penthouse—dubbed the “Mansion in the Sky”—to believe it.

Back in 2017, Perry listed his $13.5 million Hollywood Hills home to move into Penthouse 40, a super luxe 9,290-square-foot penthouse pad that occupies the entire 40th floor of the Century building in L.A.’s Century City neighborhood. He first listed the penthouse for $35 million last August, and it seems he’s trying to sell it again, this time offering a cool $27 million. He originally bought the home for $20 million.

The palatial interior features plenty of perks that would make your average transponster (or, you know, A-list Hollywood actor) feel right at home. As noted by Greg Holcomb and Cassandra Petersen at Compass, Perry enlisted the help of architect Scott Joyce and interior designer LM Pagano to transform the full-floor circular penthouse into the plush pad of Perry’s dreams, complete with four bedrooms and eight bathrooms, a large chef’s kitchen and dining area, and a laundry list of enviable amenities including a Batcave screening room, an homage to Perry’s favorite superhero Batman.

The master bedroom alone comes with a seating area with a fireplace, dual baths, walk-in closets, and sweeping views of the glittery Los Angeles skyline. The condo itself features four outdoor terraces, providing a 360-degree vantage point of the downtown skyline all the way to the Pacific Ocean, so you can enjoy stunning views from wherever you are in the home.

Building amenities at the Century building include 24-hour concierge and security services, a fitness studio, a swimming pool with private cabanas, a movie theater, private wine storage, and four acres of gardens and walking paths. Three covered parking spaces are included with Perry’s unit—which means you’ll have plenty of space to park the Batmobile. Why, you might ask?

Along with plush carpeting, marble surfaces, and modern fixtures throughout, Batman fans will love Perry’s unique Batcave, a cozy Gotham Manor-inspired screening room adjacent to a hallway lined with Perry’s Batman memorabilia that would make even Bruce Wayne himself green with envy. There’s also a pool table and a ping pong table if you’re caught up on “Friends” reruns and are looking for a little leisure time away from the barcalounger.

At the time it was first listed for $35 million, Page Six noted that the property was Los Angeles’ most expensive condo for sale. Check out a video tour here. There’s only one thing to say about the person who ends up buying this place: could we be any more jealous?Arielle TschinkelCONTRIBUTOR
