Three years after announcing the end of their marriage in 2015, pop punk queen, Avril Lavigne, and Nickelback’s leading man, Chad Kroeger, have decided to put their chateau-inspired home on the market for $7.999 million. Since they originally dropped only $5.4 million on the property, this former Hollywood couple stands to make quite a profit.

Surrounded by lush greenery, this corner lot in the star-studded Sherman Oaks neighborhood provides utmost privacy with immaculately crafted vined walls and fencing. Upon entering the 10,000-square foot residence, visitors will be captivated by the two-story floor-to-ceiling windows that brighten the living area and illuminate the impressive double circular staircase. Soft, neutral walls contrast the rich flooring to create balance, but the grandeur of the six bedroom, nine bathroom abode is certainly clear.

As the former home of two musicians, it’s no wonder this luxurious mansion comes equipped with ample options for entertainment, including a professionally built home theater. A newly built rec room with stunning skylights and high ceilings features a full bar as well as an expansive space for hosting guests. Outside, the backyard boasts a heated salt-water pool and spa, several lounging areas, a bar, and a fire-pit.

Chris Pauloski of Pacific Union International holds this illustrious listing, which Variety first reported.
