With “stay-at-home” orders in effect throughout San Francisco and the Bay Area, most open houses are out. But video, photo, and 3D virtual tours are in. Take a virtual stroll through five new listings, including a Wayne Hertzka and William Knowle-designed midcentury on the Presidio Wall, an oh-so rare Jordan Park offering, and an Italianate Victorian on Lexington Street.

A two-story home, painted dark brown with white trim, which comes with an iron gate.

3555 Pacific Avenue, the Presidio Heights
Specs: 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms; 3,728 square feet
Asking price: $7.5 million
Description: Built in 1949, this early midcentury specimen, built by architects of Hertzka and Knowles (One Bush Plaza), is located right on the Presidio Wall, a Presidio Heights location that butts up against Presidio Park. Behind the home’s gate you’ll find a garden and staircase leading up to the front door. Once inside, check out the curved main staircase with a circular skylight above it, renovated kitchen (dig all that marble!) and bathrooms, and a step-down living room with views of that famous what’s-its-name bridge.

A two-story boxy home with spanish-mediterranean roof tiles, a sharply manicured long bush in the front, and a small juliette balcony above the front door.

101 Commonwealth, Jordan Park
Specs: 5 bedroom, 4.5 bathrooms, 4,410 square feet
Asking price: $6.990 million
Description: Oh boy, do I love a pocket neighborhood. One of my favorites, Jordan Park, has a rare listing this week. This downright gorgeous circa-1923 home comes with a glass atrium, made by Belgium designers Lloyd Hamilton, that’s sun-drenched during the day, but turns into a private movie theater come nightfall. There’s also an in-ground hot tub fit for a swinging good time. The home also comes with a grand staircase, formal dining room and living room, and even two private landscaped gardens. Don’t miss the top-floor landing highlighted by an iron skylight.

2811 Polk, Russian Hill

Of special note is the dramatic staircase adorned with white vertical wood slats. The home, like many contemporary remodels in the city features a stark white palette, so anyone with an interior-design touch would be happy to work wonders here.
